Presenters: Amy Robinson and Brady Helms are Disaster Management Coordinators for the NASA Disasters Program at NASA Headquarters. . They are responsible for the collection and coordination of disaster-relevant research, data, and satellite imagery across multiple NASA centers, which provides situational awareness and aids in the decision-making of operational organizations.

   Jeremy Kirkendall is the Senior GIS Administrator and Garrett Layne is a GIS Specialist for the NASA Disasters Program at NASA Headquarters. They are responsible for the curation of the NASA Disasters Mapping Portal which hosts disaster-relevant research, data, and satellite imagery from across NASA as well as web applications and story maps.

Description: The NASA Disasters Program promotes the use of Earth observations to improve the prediction of, preparation for, response to, and recovery from natural and technological disasters. This webinar will provide an introduction to the NASA Disasters Program and highlight the types of information available, as well as how users can access the information through the NASA Disasters Mapping Portal.
